Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is pleased to announce a collaboration with Tel Aviv Medical Center, aimed to promote cancer research, foster academic exchange, and ultimately improve patient care. The collaboration will encompass key areas such as AI in oncology, early detection to identify biomarkers for timely diagnosis, and initiatives within breast cancer research. Through academic trainee exchange programs and symposia, oncology experts from both organizations will collaborate to further our shared mission of reducing the burden of cancer globally. Every provider at Dana-Farber has a story shaped by mentors who shared their wisdom and guidance. In honor of National Nurse Practitioner Week (Nov. 10-16), we’re spotlighting Lindsay Margolis, NP, (left) in Head and Neck Oncology. 👩‍⚕️ Lindsay’s journey to a clinical career began unexpectedly. With a master’s in nutrition, she initially aimed for nutrition communications. But during an internship rotation at Dana-Farber, Margolis discovered her passion for oncology. Her path was guided by incredible mentors, like Abigail Ciampa, NP, and Jason Glass, NP, who inspired and supported her every step of the way. Today, Margolis brings a unique perspective, blending her dietetic background with a compassionate approach to patient care. “I’ve ended up where I’m meant to be,” she shares. 💙 Mentorship is at the heart of what we do, and seasoned providers like Lisa Doherty, NP, continue to guide Margolis in her role.
