Cross Point Church is a place where Everyone’s Welcome because one of the things we’ve learned is that Nobody’s Perfect, and with Jesus, we believe that Anything’s Possible.
No matter where you’ve been or what you believe, you’re welcome here. Cross Point meets every Sunday at multiple locations around the Nashville area and online, for services that clearly communicate the hope found through Jesus Christ. We use engaging music, compelling videos, straightforward teaching, and many other elements to help people connect with a God who is incredibly passionate about you and your story. BELIEFS
What you believe about God is the most important thing about you. We’re here to help you as you explore the spiritual side of life. Cross Point is a place for people in every stage of their spiritual journey…a place where you can belong even before you believe.
While Cross Point’s ministry is innovative, what we believe about God is not. Our core beliefs are centered on Christ and His message as found in the Bible. We believe in one God, who is eternally existent in three persons–Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and became fully man to save a lost world. We believe that the Holy Spirit guides every believer the moment they place their faith in Jesus.
VALUES
Our church values are guiding principles that determine our behaviors and decision-making priorities. As long as the things we do are rooted in one or more of these values, we know we are living out our authentic identity as a church.
LEADERSHIP
The head of Cross Point Church is Jesus Christ. As a whole, our goal is to reflect His priorities in all we do and how we do it. Cross Point is guided by three primary groups of people: the Elders, the Board of Trustees, and the Staff.
Elders – The Elders give spiritual oversight for the church. What does that look like? They evaluate the teaching ministry, review major ministry decisions, and ensure the church remains faithful to the Bible. Scripture indicates that the ultimate decision-making authority in the church rests with the Elders.
Board of Trustees – The Board of Trustees is empowered by the Elders to oversee the day-to-day management of the church. To sum it up, they use their unique marketplace experience and wisdom to serve the church.
Lead Pastor – The Lead Pastor provides spiritual leadership for the church through prayer, teaching, and preaching. Throughout the week, the Lead Pastor serves on the management and leadership teams to help support and provide visionary and strategic leadership for the ministries of Cross Point.
