      Description Scolari's is all about making sure you're well-fed. Scolari's Food and Drug owns and operates about a dozen grocery stores in northern Nevada (mostly in the Reno area) and several more in California under the Scolari's Food & Drug and Sak n Save banners. The stores, nine of which are superstores, offer traditional groceries and feature specialty departments including fresh produce, meat and fish, bakery/deli, floral, video rental, health and beauty, and pharmacies. As you might expect, the Nevada supermarkets also house slot machines for shoppers who care to gamble while they grocery shop. Founded in 1947, the family-run company is run by CEO Joey Scolari and his brother Jerry (COO).
