Description Cobalis hopes to abolish the ah-choos. The company is developing new medicines for allergies. Its lead drug candidate is allergy medication PreHistin, which prevents histamines from being produced in excess. (Most allergy medicines on the market react to the production of histamines.) The company also claims PreHistin lacks the side effects, such as drowsiness, that are associated with other allergy medications. Cobalis has initiated Phase III clinical trials for the drug, which has shown positive results against placebos. Once approved, the drug will be sold over the counter. Chairman Rudy Radovich owns 22% of the company.
