Advion doesn't so much "go with the flow" as it controls the flow of microfluidics in chemistry systems. The company offers liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry services and products, as well as bioanalytical and data management services to pharmaceutical researchers and drug discovery companies. Subsidiary Advion BioSystems makes and markets the TriVersa NanoMate system -- a robotic system designed to analyze electrospray samples from mass spectrometers -- and related equipment used in drug discovery and development. The company was co-founded in 1993 by executives Jack Henion and Thomas Kurz.
