Description Amisco delights in the image of friends gathered around a table or lounging on fab chairs. Amisco designs and manufactures home furnishings (beds, tables, chairs) made out of metal composite tubing and steel sheets. The furniture is available in a number of colors, tabletops (wood, glass, melamine), fabrics, and base designs. Customers are therefore able to create custom furniture out of their selections and have them produced within 10 days. Products are sold at specialty furniture retailers through 4,000 stores spanning Canada and the US, which represents about 70% of annual sales. The company was founded in 1954. It was acquired by Quebec Inc., a subsidiary of Gestion Martin Poitras Inc., in 2009.
