Description Our founder and president, Jerry Kohl, and his wife, Terri, met back in high school. They fell in love and – while still high-school sweethearts – started their own small boutique. A few years later they purchased Leegin, a men’s belt company, and eventually began producing a special line of classic belts for men, called Brighton. After those belts caught on, ladies belts were added. That's how the Brighton brand was born. Over the years came more exceptional products that our loyal customer has come to love…handbags, small leather goods, jewelry and more. Brighton Collectibles stores were opened to give customers another way to easily find Brighton products. And all those things that women love from Brighton we create out of love for our customers. It's that simple.
