If you've got a screw loose, Senco Brands (formerly SENCO Products) has got the fastener. The company makes air-, battery-, and gas-powered nailers, staplers, and screw guns, as well as the nails, staples, screws, and other specialty fasteners that those devices use. Its products are sold in more than 40 countries by major retailers and building materials dealers, including Fastenal, Home Depot, and Lowe's. Senco serves professional builders, including contractors, remodelers, furniture makers, and manufacturers of pallets and packaging. Founded in 1951, the firm was purchased out of bankruptcy by private equity firm Wynnchurch Capital for $43 million in mid-2009.
