HOW IT ALL BEGAN... In the 1970s, the publishers of Industry Week magazine co-founded a company called Penton Learning Systems (PLS). Its mission and purpose to "supply the missing link between a number of disconnected colleges and universities, each marginally effective in designing and developing short courses for managerial and professional workers." IN 1983 IQPC IS BORN PLS assisted in the design and development of over 30,000 short courses/seminars in the fields of quality management, project management, finance and accounting, marketing management, strategic planning and more. Powerful niche-topics was a skill that was integrated into the structure of PLS. and it was this skill, that in 1989 transformed PLS into the International Quality and Productivity Centre and our core focus of designing, developing and marketing the world’s leading conferences. From there we continued to go from strength to strength, GROWING OUR BRANDS AND COMMUNITIES. Leveraging a global research base of best practices, IQPC now produces an unrivalled portfolio of problem-solving conferences, servicing a wide variety of industries across the globe, through our different brands and portfolios.
