Description Aperto is not tethered to its work. The company manufactures wireless networking equipment used to bridge the gap between telecom service providers and broadband customers over the last mile. Its PacketMAX and WaveCenter product lines include radio-frequency base stations, antennas, and network access devices. Aperto's products are used by carriers worldwide to deliver converged voice, data, and video services to their subscribers. The company received about $165 million in equity funding from such investors as Alliance Ventures, Innovacom, and Stratex Networks prior to its acquisition in 2010 by Canada's Tranzeo Wireless. The deal fleshed out Tranzeo's product portfolio and expanded its customer list.
