Description Got a bad case of hay fever? Head to Haywood! Haywood Regional Medical Center (HRMC) provides a wide range of health care services to the residents of western North Carolina. Specialty services include emergency medicine, home and hospice care, occupational health, immediate and prolonged physical rehabilitation, and surgery. Founded in 1927, the medical center offers imaging services, diabetes education, and health and fitness centers. HRMC also houses a state-funded adult psychiatric inpatient program managed by Smoky Mountain Center, a local provider of behavioral health care services. The HRMC Foundation provides charitable giving and administration services.
