Muttluks makes and distributes booties, and now coats, exclusively for dogs. The boots, which are sold in the US, Canada, and Europe, come in a variety of styles, fabrics, and sizes. Products may be purchased in pet specialty stores and on the company's Web site. What started as a joke present from a friend has grown into a huge, if chortle-inducing, industry for founder and owner Marianne Bertrand, who designed her first pair in 1993 and started the company a year later.
