Description Established in 2008 by the Integra Foundation as the world ́s first Fair Trade certified Macadamia Nut Company. TSA is a social enterprise, working directly with nearly 30,000 smallholder farmers, producing and exporting Organic and Fair-Trade macadamia and cashew nuts, oils & seedlings.
The company has a manufacturing plant in EPZA Athi River, Macadamia nursery in Meru and Cashew nurseries in Kilifi.
TSA has approximately 30,000 farmers in cooperatives and employs on average 400 workers, of which 90% are women.
