Description Adina Reyter is an entrepreneur who has been designing her eponymous line of accessibly priced, high-quality fine jewelry for 18 years. But, if you ask Adina what she does for a living she always replies, “I make people happy.”
After graduating from U.C. Berkeley with a degree in international business, Adina went to work in advertising. Knowing that she wanted one day to start her own creative business, she began taking metalwork classes in the evenings as both a creative outlet and an opportunity to explore the field from a technical perspective - to truly understand the fundamentals of how jewelry is made. Very quickly the designs she was creating for herself were getting noticed.
Adina’s great-grandparents had founded one of the largest knitwear companies on the west coast. “Running a low-tech business was in my DNA,” she explains. So, the decision to take her brand to the next level came easily. While working full time in advertising, Adina invested her own salary in the materials necessary to create samples to show to LA boutiques along with a website to showcase her collection.
