National Louis University (NLU) was established in 1886 Chicago, Illinois and remains one of the oldest and most progressive universities in the city. Offering more than 70 degree programs at the undergraduate, master’s, doctoral, and certificate levels, NLU strives to inspire and empower all learners as they prepare for meaningful lives and productive careers. NLU serves more than 10,000 students at four locations in Illinois and Florida, and the University works hard to improve schools and businesses through community partnerships and applied research. Since 2018, NLU has also included Kendall College, the No. 1 culinary school in Chicago, which offers degree and certificate programs in culinary arts and hospitality management. Named one of the Top 25 Most Diverse Universities in the U.S., NLU is committed to advancing diversity, equity, and access in higher education, especially for students from underrepresented backgrounds and first-generation college students.
