Description Anthrax beware, PharmAthene is out to get you and your brethren. The biodefense company in-licenses compounds and develops them into medical products that protect against biological and chemical threats, such as bacteria, fungi, toxins, viruses, and other infectious or harmful agents. Products in development include SparVax, an antigen anthrax vaccine; Valortim, a human monoclonal anthrax antibody; Protexia, a nerve agent therapy; and RypVax, a pneumonic plague vaccine. Also in the works is a new-generation anthrax vaccine candidate that can be stockpiled for a longer period of time.
