Description Brooks Manufacturing makes and distributes structural wood products for the utility industry. The company primarily manufactures braces, crossarms, and framing, as well as related hardware such as nuts, bolts, washers, plates, and brackets, for electricity transmission and distribution infrastructure. It receives, dries, treats, and processes timber from Douglas fir sawmills throughout the Pacific Northwest. Brooks Manufacturing was founded as the Ralph Turner Pipe Company in 1915. The Brooks family purchased the firm in 1935 and has owned and managed it ever since.
