Chickasaw Holding's family of businesses keeps south central Oklahoma connected. The company's original business, Chickasaw Telephone Company, was founded in 1909 and offers local phone service to about 9,000 business and residential customers. Its other subsidiaries provide such services as long-distance (Chickasaw Long Distance), Internet access (BrightNet Oklahoma), wireless service (Chickasaw Cellular), and wholesale fiber-optic networking for business customers and other communications carriers (Indian Nations Fiber Optics). The group also installs telecommunications equipment, including private branch exchange (PBX) and voice mail systems through its Telco Supply Company subsidiary.
