Description As one of Canada's oldest and largest makers and retailers of chocolates, the venerable Laura Secord company sells its more than 400 confectionary products (premium chocolates, truffles, ice cream, candies, nuts, boxed chocolates, and gift baskets) in about 140 retail shops throughout Canada. The chocolate from which Laura Secord's manufactures its goodies is supplied by Canadian confectioner Ganong Bros. Formerly owned by a trio of mostly US investors, Laura Secord was acquired in early 2010 by Jean and Jacques Leclerc, owners of Aliments Nutri-Art, based in Quebec.
