Türk Telekomünikasyon is a leading telecommunications services provider in Turkey. With a network infrastructure that covers the country, the group's subsidiaries offer fixed-line, mobile, data, and Internet services, as well as convergence technologies to residential and commercial customers. All told, the company has more than 16.5 million fixed lines, 6.5 million ADSL connections (a type of digital subscriber line for high-speed data transmission), and 11.5 million mobile subscribers. Services for large corporations, small businesses, and public sector enterprises include server colocation, data storage and backup, and web domain hosting. Türk Telekom is 55% owned by Oger Telekomünikasyon.
