Operating through its Xuecheng Century subsidiary, the company offers one-on-one tutoring to primary and secondary school students in China. Its offerings include courses for math, science, English, and Chinese, as well as customized courses designed to provide instruction beyond standard school curriculum. Xueda serves students in 27 provinces from some 160 learning centers, many of which are located in eastern China's more economically developed cities. Founded in 2001, the company filed to go public in late 2010 through a $128 million IPO.
