The Mission of On My Own Independent Living Services is to provide the best care and services to individuals so that they may experience the highest quality of life and independence possible.
At On My Own Independent Living Services, we facilitate clients and staff to identify barriers, develop solutions, and to always follow through. We celebrate employees that use creativity, honesty and are responsive to the needs of our clients.
On My Own Independent Living Services was founded on the three basic principles:
Treat all clients, employees, and co-workers with “dignity and respect.”
Provide the highest quality services possible.
Continually advocate for the client's health, safety, and well-being.
On My Own began in 2001 providing Independent Living Services (ILS) and Supported Living Services (SLS) to adults with developmental disabilities in the Greater Sacramento Area and the nine surrounding counties. Today, in addition to Independent Living Services (ILS) and Supported Living Services (SLS), On My Own provides Empowered Parenting (EPP), and services to families participating in the Child Welfare System.
In 2012, On My Own expanded its Supported and Independent Living Services to North Bay Regional Center, and began serving more than 13 counties in Northern California.
