Description Hansel and his sister gathered wood in the forest, but it's nothing compared to what Hansol Paper must amass to run its mills. A division of Korean conglomerate Hansol Corporation, Hansol Paper manufactures printing and writing paper, paperboard for industrial use, and specialty paper. The company exports more than 50% of its production to the US, Japan, and 50 other countries. It operates three mills (its Janghang mill is the largest printing and writing paper mill in Korea) and has offices in Korea, China, and the US. Hansol picked up a near 40% stake in paper manufacturer EN Paper from Kukil Paper in 2008. The company, established in 1965 as Saehan Paper Manufacturing, was part of the Samsung Group until 1993.
