Camellia was founded in 1974, since then Camellia has expanded its operations across the southeast caring for thousands of patients on a daily basis and employing hundreds of dedicated professionals. At Camellia, our top priority is the patients we serve, and we hold the patients' best interest at the forefront of every business decision... including the selection of clinicians. We select trustworthy, compassionate staff to serve the patients.
Over the last 40 years, Camellia is proud to have been recognized as an employer of choice and as one with a recent strong growth history. As recently as 2015, Camellia Healthcare has been named one of Mississippi's Best Places to Work for six consecutive cycles. Most recently in August of 2015, Camellia was named by the Mississippi Business Journal as Mississippi's 2nd best place to work in the sate in the "Mega-Large" category. And, named Mississippi's Nurse Employer of the Year by the Mississippi Nurse Association in 2014.
