Description Voltaire prides itself on being well-connected. The company provides InfiniBand server and storage switching equipment for high-performance grid computing. Customers use Voltaire's director-class switches and host software to build and manage their data centers. The company also provides traffic management, provisioning, and virtualization applications. Other products include multi-protocol routers for integrating Infiniband-based components with Fibre Channel and Ethernet-based technology, as well as host channel adapters and cables. In 2011 Voltaire was acquired by fellow Israeli and InfiniBand chip producer Mellanox for $218 million.
