Description Decagon is well-known in many industries for its simple, precise, high quality scientific instruments, systems, and services. Our products and services span many industries including an instrument used by 90 out of the top 100 food companies to measure water activity for shelf stability and a soil probe used on NASA's Mars Phoenix Lander mission.
Decagon was founded in 1983 by Dr. Gaylon Campbell, a renowned soil scientist at Washington State University. Dr. Campbell designed instruments for his own research and colleagues in his field soon wanted his creations. Eventually he couldn't keep up with demand and Decagon was formed to design, manufacture, and market his instruments. Today Decagon's instruments are used throughout the world in universities, research and testing laboratories, government agencies, vineyards, farms, food and pharmaceutical companies, industrial applications, and many other applications as we grow and expand into new markets.
