Description Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital (SGCMH) is a county owned, 25-bed critical access hospital/health system located in Ste. Genevieve, MO. The hospital offers a vast array of in/outpatient services including general acute care, pediatrics, breast care, orthopedics, general surgery, home health, cardiology, obstetrics and women’s health.
Established in 1969, SGCMH has continued to grow through investment in its facilities, equipment and people. The hospital has seen tremendous growth and has undergone a transformation with the addition of a brand new state-of-the-art Emergency Department, a complete remodel of the front of the hospital, all new patient areas for admitting, laboratory and diagnostic imaging; as well as a conversion to private patient rooms. SGCMH has all digital imaging and electronic medical records.
The hospital operates seven satellite primary and specialized health care offices, a specialty clinic and one of the smallest cancer research hospitals in the U.S.
