Illiteracy ties us to our past; learning to read connects us to our future, with its unlimited potential. We are equally concerned about the lack of proper instruction for teachers at all levels. It is imperative that students and teachers alike are given the tools and training that they need to succeed.

Description Since 1984, Reading Horizons has dedicated its time and efforts to developing and perfecting a reading system based on a methodology that provides explicit, systematic, sequential instruction in decoding, spelling, and pronunciation strategies. This reading system has helped hundreds of thousands of beginning readers, struggling readers, and English Language Learners find reading success for the first time. Using the program, the average student gains two-to-three grade levels in reading with just 50 hours of instruction and is empowered with all of the skills needed to continue to improve their reading ability.

Reading Horizons is well into a rewarding summer for our company. We are excited that we have already positively impacted so many customers this year and are looking forward to many more over the coming months. The company is having a stellar year. Each department has hired or is currently hiring for positions to help us build our talent in amazing ways. We are also promoting from within to help fill gaps that we haven't needed to fill. Despite the hit that many companies around the world took last year due to the pandemic, our company was blessed to grow and expand our product. We have seen the expansion of the use of our materials in organizations that were already using our products. We also gain many new customers throughout the year. Reading Horizons has worked hard to change the lives of so many over the years. And we continue to help change lives. We are excited every time we show a teacher or an administrator on how our product works and the kinds of gains that can be seen for just one of their students. We are more excited when a district curriculum director sees the value of our product in helping students in their districts. It makes us happy to see and know that students are feeling more capable of interacting with the world. Reading Horizons has thrived during the last six months. While there was and still is uncertainty in the world regarding the pandemic, civil unrest, and natural disasters, we are still helping students learn to read. Our year has been amazing and we continue to grow. In the last six months, we have continued to hire excellent people and continued to grow with our customers as we all navigate the uncertainty.
