AlGooru originally derives from “Guru”, a Sanskrit* term for a "mentor, guide, expert, or master" of certain knowledge or field. 🥇
🧠 Why does MENA need a platform like us?
UNESCO ranked our region to have one of the most outdated educational systems in the world, whereas our regions ranks #1 in exporting brilliant-minds to the globe.
We don’t plan to reestablish and redefine the educational landscape in the MENA at AlGooru, rather, we want to upgrade the private tutoring industry by making it more accessible, affordable, and convenient to the 100,000,000 MENA students.

Our Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) is to build a one-stop private tutoring shop where learners from all levels, ages, and backgrounds can instantaneously find an affordable qualified private tutor for any subject, and at any given time.
