Description Night Owl Support Systems was established in 2007 as an extension of the Sound Response Program at the University of Wisconsin – Madison to provide remote support services to individuals across the U.S.. Our mission is to deliver quality remote support services by creatively using technology to connect passionate, experienced caregivers to individuals, allowing them to live with more independence. Currently we serve individuals in fifteen states, but Wisconsin remains one of our largest service areas. To date, we serve about 500 individuals in with remote supports. Our remote supports program allows individuals to spend overnight periods without in-home staff, increasing their independence and opportunities for greater responsibility and self-determination. We do this by placing technology in the home that sends pertinent information to our remote support professionals. These professionals can then reach out to the individual when appropriate to support them.
