Description Using Abacus to calculate marketing responses is a lot easier than counting on your toes. Abacus models consumer behavior based on purchase information from more than 1,500 consumer catalogs to help catalog marketers target consumers. Abacus can supply clients with lists of prospective customers as well as help them optimize and analyze their own mailing lists. The company also sells information reports on product sales and consumer behavior within certain markets. Abacus works with publishers to increase subscription responses and assists clients in business-to-business marketing. Internet advertising company DoubleClick sold Abacus to database marketing provider Epsilon in February 2007.
