Volant Partners was formed in 2021 by Ron Hopkins to create a different kind of engineering services company. Building on his decades of leadership at other consulting companies, he wanted to create a uniquely employee-focused company. One that was uncompromising in creating a great place to work for employees and providing an exceptional experience to clients. The rest of 2021 was spent in setting up the infrastructure for Volant Partners to launch in 2022 when we began hiring employees and approaching clients.
Our corporate philosophy is simple. We believe that an engineering services company must hire and retain the very best staff. We also believe that our team is stronger if it is diverse and represents the world we live in. As a business, our product is the services that our staff provides, and we believe in giving our customers the best products. Hiring the right people and ensuring you are creating a great environment for them to do what they love (engineering!) frees them to focus on their clients and create an exceptional experience. Happy customers lead to a trusted relationship with Volant Partners and increases the volume and variety of work we do for our clients. As our volume of work grows, we are able to further invest in our people and company. We don’t believe there is an end state and a healthy company is constantly investing in its staff and business to improve the client’s experience. We represent this corporate philosophy with a graphic that we call a fly wheel. It shows the dependencies between the staff, clients, and Volant Partners. We strive to keep that wheel moving to the right with a constantly improving experience for all involved.
