Description Berghaus wants its customers to set their (camping) sites high above the rest of the world. Founded in the late 1960s, Berghaus Limited is a leading manufacturer of outdoor clothing, footwear, and backpacks in the UK, specializing in mountain- and rock-climbing equipment. The company, which also owns retail locations in Europe and Asia, plans on expanding further internationally. Berghaus (which means "mountain hut" in German) works with some of the world's greatest climbers including Sir Chris Bonington and brothers Alex and Thomas Huber. The Pentland Group bought Berghaus in 1993.
