With the closing of AGH in 2009, the two Gainesville cardiology practice powerhouses, Interventional Cardiologists of Gainesville (IVC) and Cardiology Associates of Gainesville (CAG), found themselves practicing at the same hospital for the first time and decided to merge and become what we know today as The Cardiac & Vascular Institute – TCAVI. The official date of merger was May 31, 2012.
