Founded by Stuart Blumberg in 1994, Health Plus Management (HPM) was built on the intent to support physicians with small businesses and accelerate the potential of their practice through operational, administrative and marketing expertise.
Getting his start in the industry working on the ground within physician offices, Stuart’s hands on experience allowed him to gain a strong understanding of the day-to-day business and services provided to patients. Having this first-hand insight, Stuart realized the complexities physicians face in owning a medical practice, while also trying to provide high-quality patient care. His passion for providing care along with his desire to be successful, led him to develop a physician support organization, which would later transform into the HPM you know today. HPM remains committed to offering every physician within the network excellence in service, tools for advancement and a customized approach to propel their business.
Today, Health Plus Management supports more than 45 locations across New York (Downstate & Upstate) and New Jersey and employs more than 250 employees throughout these locations. While every local office is unique, they are an extension of our larger family. We groom employees to oversee site operations and achieve maximum professional success. Ensuring employees feel valued is an essential part of our operation.
Over the course of 25+ years, the business not only has seen tremendous progression, but it has proven that hard work, dedication and passion are the key ingredients to building a prosperous organization. Growth not only includes that of the business, but of the people that make up Health Plus Management. We strongly believe in the opportunity to promote within and we strive to elevate our team members into greater roles of leadership.
