Senior1Care is a family-owned and operated home care agency founded by Indiana residents Carl Bossung and his sons Kyle, Corey, and Patrick. The idea for the company began with Carl’s mother, Loretta. She lived independently until age 95 and, in her final years, needed the support of a home care agency. When the Bossung family struggled to find dependable, high-quality care that met their standards for someone they loved, they decided to build the kind of agency they wished had existed for her.
That experience shaped the philosophy behind Senior1Care: care should feel personal, trustworthy, and rooted in dignity. Loretta would have been proud to see the organization her family built and how it continues to honor her legacy by helping other families access the compassionate support they deserve.
Now, more than 20 years later, Senior1Care has grown into one of Indiana’s most respected home care providers, serving South Bend/Mishawaka, Elkhart, Fort Wayne, Angola, Indianapolis, Warsaw, and surrounding communities. We help seniors remain independent at home and support families who want peace of mind.
