Description In 1920, our great-great-grandfather Harold W. Wells, Sr. founded Wells Insurance in a small office on Princess Street in downtown Wilmington, NC. Today we are in our 4th generation of family ownership. Our dad Harold is our Chairman while sons Harold “Hal” Wells IV and Steve Wells serve as co-presidents and CEO/COO of our agency.
Working together in our business, our family and our employees have built Wells Insurance into one of the largest and most established insurance agencies in North Carolina, with four offices and over 75 staff representing numerous national and regional carriers. With four distinct pillars of focus, (Personal, Commercial, Employee Benefits and Marine Insurance, we serve nearly every facet of the insurance business. We provide carefully crafted coverage and risk expertise to individuals and corporations across the US and serve our client’s needs worldwide through our partnership with Assurex Global.
