Mission Our mission is to enrich the lives of others by providing high-quality counseling and psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families and a sustainable work/life balance for counselors.
Description HOPE Therapeutic Alliance is a group counseling practice that embraces great clinical outcomes, teamwork, human kindness, authenticity, and self-care. We show up and provide a safe space for people, so true healing, connection, and growth can happen. We play a crucial role in assisting clients in navigating a wide range of behavioral and emotional challenges within a welcoming and accessible environment. At HOPE, we strive to create the highest quality of care for our clients and a sustainable work life balance for our counselors who care for them.
HOPE Therapeutic Alliance, originally known as, H.O.P.E. Youth and Family Development was established in 2019 by Latasha Teamer with the help of Hayley Willis. Their hope was to establish a private practice that could serve as a place of refuge and foster true healing and growth through equitable and quality mental health services.
HOPE started out with Latasha and Hayley offering low cost services during COVID to help with the increased need for qualified mental health care. To address the rising racial tensions in 2020, HOPE also offered free counseling to the Black community. Clientele began to grow and more members of our community were being served. HOPE expanded and became known for serving a community of individuals who would not have considered seeking counseling due to stigma and distrust of the system. We offer healing to people and places that once seemed impossible.
As the practice began to grow, HOPE started serving as a clinical placement site to assist future counselors/therapists in accomplishing their unique professional goals. This allowed the practice to serve more individuals and begin the process of expanding.
