Pros

I did volunteer work at WUR for a year. Positive environment, and passionate employees at WUR that make you feel valued as a volunteer. We felt supported as an organisation.

Cons

On a structural level, support for volunteering is lacking. Paying tuition fee while not taking classes and supporting the university does not feel right. We were compensated for this, but not enough to cover full tuition.

Extremely good learning environment for students, positive environment and many supportive professors to help with content throughout the year.

Cons

Small town with not much city life, most social activities are student activities
