Pros

- A wonderful company with a social conscience. - Friendly, a big family really - Strives for positive change and supports well-being both internally and externally - Every employee is listened to as 2Simple promotes a flatter hierarchy - Nigel is a brilliant MD and all round lovely person who is not financially motivated and instead invests in charitable projects all over the world.

Cons

- Pay isn’t amazing when you’re London based.

Pros

The people at 2Simple are usually quite nice and pleasant. It has the usual benefits of a technology company in London, private health insurance, gym membership etc. Some of the managers are really good at their jobs as well as managing their teams, others not so much. Work from home is permanent for most people after the pandemic.

Cons

Pay is not usually on scale for London unless you are working with the developers. The owner Nigel is eccentric to say the least and depending on his mood he will either be motivational or start screaming. One of the first pieces of advice you’re given is careful around him, if he asks for something drop everything you’re doing even if you’re with a client. The current rating for this company has been bolstered by employee being encouraged to give 5 stars. -As with most companies turnover in sales is high. It's supposed to be account management but there is no happiness index only money. Still an issue if they aren't happy however regardless if it is your fault or not. High earning areas are given to preferred sales people, if an areas time/effort index becomes too low the area is dumped on someone else to keep their numbers up. -I wasn’t there for very long and I saw a quite a bit of turnover before COVID, and then the pandemic happened, and then they really started to clean house. The usual excuses were given but the company was making record profits (loved to brag about that). All teams got smaller so those who stayed had to simply shoulder the additional workload. Salary increases were not offered as far as I know. I was there around 2 years and I saw 25% of employees let go and that turnover rate increases to 30% when resignations are included with the company being around 70 people. -Unless you have been at the company for so long you’re basically part of the furniture your job is not safe. There are a handful of people there who they will never terminate, no matter how incompetent or useless they are, mostly friends and family of the managers. Employees have been let go for offenses real or imaginary, there are no warnings written or verbal, you’re just gone. From what I have heard there have been court cases over how employees have been fired. Your probation basically lasts two years, it's then they decide to keep you forever as it is more difficult to get rid of you then. -There is no help with mental health. They say they are there for you, however if your mental health or physical health becomes an issue, they’ll just let you go as I mentioned before. Couldn’t be bothered to try help or at least talk to the employee. Same can be said about harassment, swept under the rug.
