    Personal biases and favoritism. Work completion pressure. Poor Material planning and inventory preservation.

    I worked at ABG Shipyard full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    good for starting the carrier or for short term experiance

    Cons

    nopay rise, no training, no timely payment, bad management

    Advice to Management

    should develop a lot lot lot more on HR, payment and basic facilities to employees.

    Pros

    Most flexible routine and low level mgmt, coardial attitude of teammates and learning opportunities are best reasons to be here.

    Cons

    Long process of mgmt review of employee performance, challenging behavior at middle mgmt to find timely appreciation and recognition of the performance of staff.

    Must be prompt and active to manage the priorities on project and admin issues.

    ABG has given me the opportunity to learn the basics of shipbuilding

    The man management for work load division is not satisfactory and the exposure to new opportunity is also lacking.

    Advice to Management

    I am a firm believer of team work and proper management of man power as per their skill.

    personality development because when you are given certain job, you urself should find ways, cross hurdles at any cost to meet the estimated time period.

    Cons

    don't expect any sort of employee welfare, you fill be given enough money( ofcourse not on month end.

    Advice to Management

    support and proper training will help to understand the system, procedure and loss of man power, material and time.

    Largest private shipbuilding company in India and have built and delivered state-of-art vessels. Has huge potential.

    Cons

    Need good professional ppl and organized approach.

    Pros

    It is growing company, so it is right place to start off and learn the profession. Upper management was encouraging for setting career goals and training.

    Cons

    Unorganized, sideffect of developing company. If you trying to gain mastery in one particular field, it would be difficult as you will thrown where necessary.

    Advice to Management

    Overall experience was okay. Still needs to be well organized and should have company wide standard training programs for new college recruitments.
