      Living conditions in Afghanistan, on the bases, are not comfortable, although you know that going in.

      The pay was great, the benefits were good, the whole package is amazing if you're single

      Cons

      Being on the other side of the world from my family and it's very difficult to leave with a new job waiting. No one wants to talk to you when you're on the other side of the world.
