    Pros

You are able to work sporting events and concerts. Great experience. Working around big crowds and artist. The job has a union 32BJ helps in your benefit.

    Cons

When there's no events going on there's no work. Part time can be annoying. Some months can only bring 4 to 5 events.

I have been working at AEG full-time

I have been working at AEG part-time

    Pros

    Not many if any.
Supposedly discounts on tickets though i've never seen any offered.
You get paid to watch shows, (kind of).

    Cons

    Disorganized
High expectations for fast food pay
    Management staff is mostly unqualified.
    Employees constantly jumping ship.
Uniform room is a mess. Changing room is packed with people fighting over lockers.
Have ridiculous schedule requirements for a part time event based job. Need to claim availability for 70% of the shows.
Want you to wait in line to pick up and drop off uniform so they don't have to pay you for the time you are wasting.
    Break room is a joke-
The break system is even more ridiculous.
Made it so it's borderline impossible to have the Islanders return but you can watch a D-list basketball team.
Preys on desperation of job seekers.
Only take a job here if you're struggling financially and enjoy stress.

    Advice to Management

The management seems to lack the basic people skills needed to be management. Don't hold themselves to the same standards they wish for employees.

I worked at AEG full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Cool projects, developed new design skills, learned how to turn things out quickly

    Cons

Quickly burned out from turn-and-burn production house structure. Lacked autonomy in projects, management has no process or desire for process, and does not support employees growth and development.

    Advice to Management

Don't be afraid of change and growth. Create a structure and process that gives designers autonomy in projects. Flexibility in the world place to create work/life balance.

I worked at AEG full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great company to work for, excellent people, outstanding benefits, challeging work. Flexible schedules, fringe benefits, family atmosphere. Overall great experience.

    Cons

Long hours, it was a challenge to achieve the ever so critical work/life balance. The ever changing industry forced the department to make budget cuts and put pressure on the thin staff.

I have been working at AEG full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent and competitive salary offered, great health benefits, a lot of employee and community programs and some perks as well.

    Cons

You must be a self starter and learner with a very thick skin. They didn't have anyone there to train me so it was sink or swim in the beginning. With a company that large it was difficult.

    Advice to Management

    Implement better training
