Pros

You will have the worst working experience if you come. 千万别来,因为已经不是一份烂工作这么简单了。

Cons

Firstly, they claim to sponsor employees' visas, but they never do. They have never sponsored anyone. If you are an international student, be aware! Don't think working here is just a transition; you'll ruin your future. Even the security guard downstairs has a better job. If you have XiaoHongShu (Little Red Book), you can search to see how much money they owe their employees at their domestic branches. If you don't have visa concerns, there's even less reason to come here. The salary is lower than anywhere else, and the management is more disgusting than anywhere else. Regarding the job itself, there are no real work tasks. Every day, you'll receive countless calls from customers accusing you of stealing their account money because this company is a complete scam. Some customers even come in person, but they just lock them outside. The worst part is the foolish CEO and CFO who think they are emperors. They pay you $17 an hour but expect you to do everything for them, assigning you tasks that are not part of your job. Others have no say and are just their pathetic messengers. Why do they think giving someone a one-dollar raise will make employees act as their babysitters? It's ridiculous. Who wants to play along with their king-and-queen game while getting minimum wage? It's pathetic that they make all decisions themselves, even though they know nothing. In summary, this is a highly unethical and unprofessional company. It's just a front for money laundering. Don't come!!!

Pros

great coworkers… which is not even THEIR pro…

Cons

1. Employees overworked but under-compensated: Although they gave a range to the job listing, they will only offer the lowest pay and will NOT budge for anything higher no matter how I negotiated (so if they say $18-$20 or $18-$25, it will be $18). Lowballing all their employees and paying them less than the market salary. Employees often have to work outside of office hours to have meetings with employees from China (which they REFUSE to admit to their clients that they have a China office) and no overtime will be paid for those meetings! They also decided to layoff their workers from China WITHOUT hiring more people here, so instead they just give everybody more tasks and overwork them. 2. Holding employees payroll: They first hold their China’s employee pay, then started the ones here, paying them almost 2 weeks late 3. Management often changes their mind: They often change their mind about the workflow, going back and forth with certain details, and the funniest thing is they would forget the decisions they made (which I guess is somewhat a good thing because more so often they make terrible decisions that just makes everyone’s work more confusing). They would also change people’s job duties and assign them tasks that is out of their scope (which is why I don’t even know what my job title is because my job duties kept changing back and forth) 4. Micromanagement: Boss likes to stick his a** into every detail of the workflow, again, more so often they are making everything worse. 5. Moody and Unprofessional boss: His decisions and attitude is totally based on his mood… what professionalism? 6. Favoritism: Make sure you get on their good side because favoritism is STRONG here. The favorites will not get the blame even if it is their fault, boss would only promote people that he like. 7. Just an absolute SCAM: Upcharging clients and they make it so difficult for people to cancel their plan, causing many unhappy clients (some even came into the office and made a scene). His concept is “since they want to cancel anyways, might as well charge them another month.” He also blames employees that it is their fault that there are all these cancellations.. even though he is the one who double the price of the services. They also created an app for each of their client with a “3-month free trial”… except he told customer service to not emphasize that and just start charging merchants without notifying them. To sum it up: a very unethical and unprofessional workplace… pretty sure it is just a front for money laundering at this point. I would recommend it to people who really need the job experience but dont really need the money. Get in, get the experience so you can have it in your resume, and then LEAVE

Pros

The coworkers are nice, the office is big.

Cons

A lot of micromanagement. Very unprofessional. Executives change their minds all the time out of nowhere. People who work underneath them can't express their ideas, and won't listen. CEO would invite people to smoke cigars in the office which is bad for employees' health. He also sleeps in the office. CFO assigns jobs that don't match your job title and expect you to be proficient when there is no training provided. Management needs more training. VP won't speak up to change the upper management. They will never promote you if they don't "like" you.
