I worked at ARCCA full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I joined Arcca in 2004 and spent the last 11 years of my career with the best company I ever worked for. Work was challenging and I was given the freedom to do solid engineering work for a variety of clients. Management treated me well and when it was time to retire the benefits and salary enabled me to retire comfortably. Coworkers were very helpful and my supervisor was always willing to provide a hand when needed

    Cons

As I noted above, the work is challenging. If you hate hard work then this is not the place for you

    Advice to Management

Keep hiring top people and keep the goodness of this company together. You found a rare combination and need to maintain it

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

If you just need a job. It is a terrible work environment. The people in managing the offices have no clue how. There is nothing positive I can say about my experience there. I would definitely not suggest starting a position at this company. The chicago offices are a joke.

    Cons

Pay, co-workers, mangement, salary and most importantly total lack of communication

    Advice to Management

Really take a look at what is going on and why you are placing your faith in these people. There is alot going on, becaus the attitude is that no one really cares.

I worked at ARCCA full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Superb highly experienced Occupant Protection Engineering group and Biomechanical/Biomedical teams. Decent accident recon, one great ME, one very good ME.

    Cons

poor evaluators of talent at multiple levels positions and disciplines. Under performers find a home.

    Advice to Management

Retire? Sell? Company could benefit from an organizational enema. The business model needs to be re-examined and modified. Morale is nonexistent
