I worked at ASAP Staffing part-time

    Pros

Always made sure to get reliable people to work on time and offer as many hours as possible.

    Cons

    It is only seasonal work

    Advice to Management

Add more temp to hire positions

I have been working at ASAP Staffing (Less than a year)

    Pros

REALLY?? only giving it a 1 star because 0 stars wasn't an option

    Cons

Don't expect to be told what a job will pay you hourly. When told start date and you show up for the first day on the job, they accidently forget to tell you that it's the next day. When told they have a position for you with an employer, they fail to inform you of real hours and days of the week that you are supposed to work. When expecting a paycheck and turn it it several hours before the time it is supposed to be turned in, they make up excuses as to not seeing it in time and then tell you it will be 2 weeks before they can issue the check. They mail checks out to the wrong address and want to charge you $25 to stop the check even though they made a mistake.

    Advice to Management

Communicate with the employees and be upfront. DON'T LIE or MAKE EXCUSES!!!!!! PEOPLE HAVE FAMILIES TO SUPPORT AND COME TO YOU BECAUSE THEY TRUST YOU!

I worked at ASAP Staffing full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You're put into a lot of different roles, so you get to learn a lot about recruitment, healthcare, social media, etc. in a small timeframe

    Cons

Because you're put in so many roles, you're also expected to do a lot, so sometimes the expectations can be quite high

    Advice to Management

They have metrics that are pretty reasonable, but they monitor the goals too closely. Giving people freedom to choose their own goals can help with turn over and employee engagement. They are generous with compensation, bonuses, perks, fun competitions, so they have no trouble keeping employees interested and engaged.

    Pros

Got to speak with some high level individuals in homeland security.

    Cons

Management doesn't care about employees. You can be layed off any day for no reason.

    Advice to Management

Try to be more organized and professional. You are using government money.

I have been working at ASAP Staffing full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

For the work you do, the pay is pretty good. I've worked at tier 1 positions for different staffing companies doing almost exactly the same work for 5-6 less per hour.

    Cons

It's a call center job. Angry people call you all day long. You need thick skin and a heart of stone to get through more than a month working here. It's a big company and metrics and policies are not always logical or reasonable. Little to no upward mobility, very little opportunities for raises.

    Pros

They hire the best of the best. They only want professionals to represent them at their client's place of work. When you work for ASAP's clients, be prepared to shine.

    Cons

If you don't like being a consultant for another company, then this may not be the place for you.

    Advice to Management

Smaller companies can use our expertise!

I worked at ASAP Staffing full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some of the most helpful senior agents possible
Some of the managers are quality, and have your back

    Cons

Mandatory overtime, almost ALL the time
No room for progress, obvious office politics
Emphasis on final solutions, rarely a final solution

    Advice to Management

Try having your agents back more, and recognizing 5 star effort

I worked at ASAP Staffing full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pay was good to start and there was overtime for senior Tech.

    Cons

Very little opportunity for growth. Education and experience weren't the keys for success. It was more like how well you networked.

    Advice to Management

Welfare of the mass can't be express with a number. Somewhere down the line management need to stop talking the good fight and get down in the trenches and get their hands dirty. No loyalty between the middle management and the workforce. Need to clean that mess up.

  10. "They are too stringent on tardies, & not a friendly place to work"

    Pros

    I live only minutes away

    Cons

Training is 4 weeks of non stop intense training. It should be longer. They expect too much of the new hires right out of training and nesting. Expect you to understand and know the job inside and out in 8 week.
The only way to get vacation time is to never be tardy of have any absences. They do have sales incentives but they are not attainable

    Advice to Management

Take more into consideration when looling at new hires that have never been in the technical field previously. Not so hard on the tardies if you are only 3 to 4 seconds late. This is a little ridiculous
