Pros
Not complicated job, English and Russian was enough for this position. Basic German would be helpful at that time.
Cons
Management is in Moldova, can be difficult to understand the structure in the beginning because onboarding is online but job itself is from the office where you do not have your own manager. If you do not belong to the Russian community it can feel weird, it is like a Soviet Union mentality but in Berlin. I would recommend to work with German team.

Pros
For me Autodoc is my big and lovely family, I work here almost a decade and never considered to leave this company. They ofered me a professional development, they are still investing in my skills and in my trainings, which is a great pro. I had the opportunity to work with different departments and to advance in my career. I'm very grateful to all my colleagues and my team.
Cons
Overall, of course in each company there are areas of improvement, but I don't consider those areas in Autodoc as cons.

Cons
Treatment of staff in Ukraine is very bad. Management deals with useless employee metrics instead of adequate assessments. Developers are evaluated not for their contribution to the work, but for the amount of code in the git. It comes to the point that when there are no tasks, they DEMAND to invent tasks for themselves to have something to fill in the Jira. The documentation is extremely poor. Lots of language confusion. Even on one page there can be three languages English/German/Russian.

A disappointment

Some colleagues are friendly but doesn’t make up for the negative experience I had there. Think twice before joining Autodoc if you value your career und time.
Cons
-In the past months, most of the corporate leaders, which I really liked have left. Now they are trying to ‘reduce’ costs and save euros in very creative ways. -No real team building or constructive feedback culture. Values lacking. -You have to be alert all the time and this is not healthy, people try to take advantage and make you look bad with supervisors. -The company diversity is narrow as most of the employees are Ukrainian and Russian. With no real ‘official’ language, all communications are sent in different languages greatly impacting team interaction. As german speaker this affects my everyday work and collaboration. -I was surprised that there is no real incentives, and managing performance, making everything decision frustrating, no room to grow. -There are few benefits like language klass and mental support, very limited.
