I worked at Accel (Ohio) full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are no pros about this place. Older employees make threatening remarks and racist comments to new employees & management doesn't do anything about it.

    Cons

Employees are treated like slaves. Only one 30 min. break. No access to bathroom or water. Not allowed to have water in work area & not allowed to leave area to get any. Scheduled for 8 hours only paid for 6.5. THIS IS A SWEAT SHOP & NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!

    Advice to Management

SHUT DOWN YOUR SWEAT SHOP! I hope that The Limited (client ) realizes that they are contracted with a sweat shop and pulls their contract. Pay employees for the hours they work.

I worked at Accel (Ohio) full-time

    Pros

I have the utmost respect and confidence in David Abraham. He has character attributes that can be counted upon... he is honest, caring and thoughtful. He is not afraid to say what he thinks, so one never has to guess where David stands on a particular issue.

Further, as a businessman, he is highly intelligent, self-confident, innovative and creative, and follows projects with an undaunted passion. Dedication to work, organization, and tireless attention to detail in the pursuit of perfection are attributes that have lead David to numerous successes.

    Cons

David needs to realize the hard work and time that he spends making sure others around him within his organization succeed. Sometimes those individuals need to stand on their own capabilities.

    Advice to Management

David has abroad range of management expertise (planning, marketing, finance, engineering, etc.).

David is one of those rare individuals that possess all of the qualities necessary for outstanding leadership.

I worked at Accel (Ohio) full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are no pros at all. Newcomers are treated with disdain and disrespect, and there is very little opportunity to advance. Pay and benefits are not competitive at all. They expect you to work long hours and will have you packing your bags when they don't need you anymore.

    Cons

Like other reviewers, I agree that management treats all workers (including those in management, like myself) like slaves. Bullying is rampant and there are a few in management who spend hours during the work day trying to devise new means of harassing coworkers they do not like. Some try to find fault in work when there is none, simply because they do not like their coworker. Others have openly made demeaning remarks about workers based on their religion. Overall, a toxic environment.

    Advice to Management

A company flourishes when there is a strong team working for it. Quit the mean girls attitude and learn how to respect your employees - that's how you earn loyalty from your workers.

I have been working at Accel (Ohio) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    None. None. None. None. None.

    Cons

If you like being screamed at and talked down to by an incompetent, crass COO (JP), then by all means accept a job at Accel-Inc. C-Level men are incapable of treating others like human beings. Bully management. CEO constantly held meetings to talk about and bad mouth other managers/directors. Co-CEO very proud of high management/director turn over. This company will never succeed with current Co-CEO and COO.

    Advice to Management

Some managers/directors are very hard working individuals. These employees don't stand a chance, however. Company does not believe in annual reviews. Employees are treated poorly, CFO has no idea of employment laws. OSHA safety is not a concern. Stop lying to customers and employees. The whole company is smoke and mirrors.

    Pros

None at all. Do not work here.

    Cons

Promised the funding and equipment needed to succeed. Received nothing. The company does not believe in annual reviews. Most associates have not received a raise in over 5 years. Family owned business that accepts and encourages a bullying style of management. Culture is toxic and unhealthy.

    Advice to Management

Employees are not your slaves. There are employment laws. Invest in training your management team. It would serve you well.
