    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Accupac full-time

    Pros

Clean and safe environment. Fellow employees are friendly and nice to work with. Pay is good at most levels. Benefits are available to all full-time employees. The benefits are good - 3 types of medical insurance, match on 401(k), etc. Work-life balance is good. Company offers ESL.

    Cons

The cons are minor - break room could be nicer, not enough parking when production is high (we are busy) - could do a better job with orientation.

    Advice to Management

You do many things right. It is important to value your employees as much as you value your customers.

    Pros

Benefits package has been improved, more PTO. Moral is good. HR has transformed the company and has made major changes.

Having everybody deal with the good changes. Some people don't like change.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Accupac full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some very knowledgeable people work there.

    Cons

    Terrible Life/Work balance
No planning done by Upper Management
    Low Pay
    Long Hours
    High Turnover Rate

    Advice to Management

Try to plan for major changes like the new Lakewood site more than a year ahead. Do not get IT involved the day you purchase and expect IT to get it running the next day. Try to actually spend money on new equipment and not force IT to purchase old equipment from Ebay because you refuse to get rid of you old 14 year old NT boxes.

I have been working at Accupac full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good place to gain experience. Lots of opportunities to learn. Small company, so had the opportunity to work closely with other departments.

    Cons

Unorganized. Low wages & small raises. Benefits not great. Not clean. Huge turnaround rate for all employees. Always hiring replacements. Employees ( esp. QA dept) hated working there & complained A LOT. HR was a joke & would give out personal information to other employees.

    Advice to Management

Show your employees that they are of value to the company, not that they are easily replaceable.

I worked at Accupac (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There are no pros other than some of the good people that you get to work with.

    Cons

Management sucks, no raises, non-caring, don't pay anything to start out, don't respect employees, takes advantage of a hard worker. This is a very greedy company and I would not recommend it to anyone.

    Advice to Management

Pay more attention to your employees and their complaints. Sometimes they actually can help since they are the ones that are doing the jobs everyday. Treat them with respect and don't look at them like you are so much better, because you are not.

I worked at Accupac full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The employees who do not work in upper management are great people, very hard workers.

    Cons

Everything. Management is absolutely horrendous. They do not care about you or your health, and expect you to live Accupac for little pay and disrespect. Management relishes in their good situations, salaries, and bonuses. Building is old and falling apart. They refuse to fix or update anything. When they do, band-aids are placed which make things fall apart even more. Not enough employees for the amount of work. HIGHLY STRESSFUL. You are not allowed to use your own brain or education. You become a robot.

    Advice to Management

Open your eyes. Learn to operate a business. Stop treating employees like dogs. PAY employees for all of the hard work they are forced to do above and beyond their job descriptions. STOP cutting corners. STOP lying to customers. Make an attempt to act like a real business.

I have been working at Accupac full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Coworkers are great, job is easy,

    Cons

Management is a joke. They act like they care but this place is a revolving door. Very low wages compared to other companies. Tell you what you want to hear but management only concerned about lining their own pockets. No advancement opportunities. Poor PTO due to vacation, sick time and personal day's lumped together.

    Advice to Management

Stop being cheap and increase wages for employees. Work on better benefits package including more vacation time. Learn to actually listen to employees. Provide advancement opportunities and maybe then you will retain quality employees.
