I worked at Advanced Disposal full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Coworkers are great, and the pay is good

    Cons

Management can’t keep things together. I started in one position, where I did a great job, and was promoted to a new one. NO ONE knew what I was supposed to do in the new position, within a year I was laid off due to “corporate restructure” I knew there was no work for me, and offered up multiple different options, but none were taken seriously. I worked here three years and saw myself staying there for the foreseeable future. It is sad and disappointing that I was offered a job that wasn’t needed.

    Advice to Management

Never offer something that hasn’t been worked out yet. You lose good workers that way. Train your management correctly and you will have happy workers. This company is a disappointment to your employees.

I worked at Advanced Disposal full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If considered as a pro, hours are lengthy for employees.

    Cons

Unethical. The business does not pay their employee for the "sign on bonus". Would advise anyone looking for quality employment to find work elsewhere. There is no integrity especially when the company does not follow through or value their employees.

I have been working at Advanced Disposal full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Laid back atmosphere no scheduled start time

    Cons

Can’t keep equipment up when trucks go down they are down for weeks at a time old equipment and underpaid for what you do

    Advice to Management

If a truck is going to be down for weeks or months at a time rent a truck to help out of if one is totaled or burnt down don’t wait years to replace it pay the smaller yards better will be easier to keep and hire new better drivers

I have been working at Advanced Disposal full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

*great pay*potential with in company to advance

    Cons

Alot of co-workers are rude, hang up on customers and your picking up their slack! It's a mess in the call center, people are yelling and laughing loudly and not being very considerate that your speaking with a customer. You have boyfriend and girlfriends working in the same company. And she'll make her boyfriend do less and your picking up that slack! Some supervisor favor who get to leave early on "early cut" list, a majority of supervisor do not say "please"or "thank you "(You are a reflection of your team), some supervisor are not very patient and push off new hires to other people,

    Advice to Management

Train supervisors more, have a trainer that actually stays in the class to train your future employees. Do not have significant others working in the same location. Actually listen to your employees when complain about a person.

I have been working at Advanced Disposal full-time

    Pros

    I cant think of anything

    Cons

Low pay, bad management, company is unable to service customers properly and has issues doing the basics. As a sales rep you will not spend time selling but apologizing to customers for their service being missed. customer service is composed of temp workers who dont care about their job, most of the issues from them find a way to sales. in sales you will be covering customer services job and making excuses for your operations teams.

several times ive hit my targets in sales and the company refuses to pay a bonus. they have a weird comp plan that is the same for new business reps and retention reps. their pricing and service makes it hard to sell and the comp plan makes it hard to get paid on what you do sell.

several times i've seen the company increase customers rates against their contract terms and apologize and roll them back, *if they get caught.

you will be called all day and night and weekend by customers who are asking "is your company going out of business?" and "what is going on over there?"

    do not work here

    Advice to Management

get back to the basics and start by servicing your customers. start to value your sales team, many on mine have left this year and i am on my way out too.
